Peter David Ebdon (born 27 August 1970) is an English retired professional snooker player. He was World Champion in 2002, beating Stephen Hendry 18–17 in the final, and won the UK Championship in 2006 and seven other ranking events between 1993 and 2012.

 

He was also a losing finalist in the World Championship in 1996 and 2006. Ebdon turned professional in 1991 and beat six-time world champion Steve Davis 10–4 in the first round of the 1992 World Championship.

 

On 30 April 2020 Ebdon announced his retirement from the game citing a neck injury after being a professional for 29 seasons.
